Adoption Care Services was created to meet a real need. Our founder, a mental health professional, saw firsthand how difficult it can be for families to navigate multiple providers — especially during times of crisis, including within her own family. ACS was built with the goal of bringing together mental health, psychiatry, and occupational therapy services under one roof for children, teens, and adults impacted by adoption. No matter how adoption is part of your story, we're here to support you and walk alongside you every step of the way.
Mental health, psychiatry, and occupational therapy, coordinated together so families don't have to juggle disconnected providers during already hard seasons.
Our practice was founded because of a personal journey with adoption. We understand the complexity not just clinically, but personally.
Whether you're newly adopted, navigating identity in adulthood, or parenting through complexity: we meet you exactly where you are.
Our clinicians are trained in effective, evidence-based approaches designed to help you process difficult experiences and create lasting change, not just manage symptoms.

Every clinician on our team is trauma-informed and chosen for both their clinical skill and their genuine care for the families we serve.

Everyone deserves to feel heard, valued and safe. It is a passion of mine to ensure that happens in each therapy session. I aim to teach skills in order for individuals to manage through difficult experiences, knowing we cannot mitigate all of life's pain on our own.
I specialize in supporting clients process trauma, grief, anxiety, depression, parenting, relational discord and adoption-related difficulties. I obtained my BSW from Taylor University and my MSW from Grand Valley State University, and spent a decade as a school social worker before transitioning into private practice.
The modalities I utilize most are Accelerated Resolution Therapy (ART), Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) and Motivational Interviewing (MI).
