Whether you're navigating anxiety, depression, trauma, ADHD, parenting challenges, relationship concerns, grief, or life transitions, we're here to help.
No. Although adoption is our specialty, we proudly serve individuals and families from all backgrounds. You do not need to have an adoption connection to become a client.

Adoption can involve unique experiences related to identity, attachment, grief and loss, trauma, relationships, and life transitions. Our clinicians understand these complexities and provide trauma-informed, adoption-competent care for adoptees, birth parents, adoptive parents, foster families, and anyone whose life has been touched by adoption.

Yes. Adoption Care Services specializes in providing therapy for individuals and families impacted by adoption throughout Michigan. We currently see clients by secure telehealth across the state, so you can work with a clinician who has specialized adoption experience wherever you live. In-person appointments at our Grand Rapids office begin September 2026.
Our practice combines specialized adoption expertise with comprehensive mental health care. Many of our clinicians have extensive experience supporting adoptees, adoptive parents, birth parents, and foster families — alongside expertise in trauma, attachment, and child development — while also providing therapy for individuals and families with a variety of mental health needs.

Yes. All appointments are currently held by secure telehealth, available anywhere in Michigan. When our Grand Rapids office opens in September 2026, we'll offer in-person sessions as well, and many clinicians will allow clients to alternate between office visits and virtual appointments when clinically appropriate.
Clients using Michigan Medicaid must be physically located in Michigan during their telehealth appointment.
Our Grand Rapids office at 4630 Plainfield Ave NE is currently being renovated and opens in September 2026. Once open, it will be an easy drive for individuals and families throughout West Michigan.
